The way it works.
As stated on the opening home page, this group is not about getting famous or becoming a huge movement. We are looking for maybe 40 members tops. Although that idea is subject to change. We are simply looking for people who want to enjoy the gaming experience.
-We will NOT have any MANDATORY meetings to where you lose membership if you do not attend.
-We will not ask for you to change your gamer ID or game name.
-We won't have mandatory game nights. I understand that we all have lives outside of games. But when you return to the games at the end of your day to rest and relax, you can rely on your fellow members of The Guard to make it a fun experience.
In order to become a member of The Guard. all you have to do is apply. Acceptance is almost guaranteed. Once you apply You will begin the recruitment phase which will last a few days at max, usually less than 24 hours. The purpose of the recruitment phase is to allow you to get your feet wet with The Guard, meet some of the members, and hopefully game with some of us. The recruitment phase also allows us to get a feel for you and how you might fit in with us. After a few days or gaming sessions with fellow guard members, I or one of the Officers will contact you to receive feedback on how the experience went. From there you will be asked if you want to become a Guardian or if its not really for you.

Differences
You're probably wondering what the difference is between Recruits and Guardians is. The answer is not much. However, we request that all of our Guardians put "The Guard" as their clan in any instance where it will NOT affect their main Gaming ID. Examples would be Rainbow Six Vegas 2, City Life RP G-Mod, Xbox Live's Motto's, Steam Description Box, etc. All of these things do NOT affect the gaming ID. However, it is not mandatory to do so in either case. We just like to see pride in our Guardians. We also expect our Guardians to show a certain level of respect and camaraderie to one another. I understand if you are playing against one another some trash talk will happen; however, keep it as clean as possible to your fellow members of The Guard. Guardians also have access to the steam page which provides any meetings that might occur as well as any Gaming sessions we might have as a clan. Recruits will rely on this website for their information during the temporary time.
As for the Officers, these are simply supervisors and overseers to make sure things run smoothly and report directly to me, they also have the power to kick any member out with good reason which will then be presented, reviewed, and officiated by myself.

How do I leave?
1) If you are still in the recruit phase then once you are contacted on the topic of whether to become a guardian or not. From there simply state that you are no longer interested in The Guard, and your membership will be discontinued from that point on.
2) If by chance the day comes when a Guardian wishes to retire from his duties all you would need is to contact an officer or myself that you will no longer be a member(Also, please remember to remove yourself from the STEAM GROUP. From there, you will be removed from the list and placed in a list yet to be created entitled "Ancient Guards".[If any member is kicked out of the clan they will not achieve "Ancient Guard" status]
3)Hopefully we will never have to face this in the clan but the day may come when a member must leave against his/her own will or in other words: get kicked out. Now with such a laid back group of people one might ask: how can I get kicked out? It basically comes down to respect:
A) Do not pester people to play with you, you request their company and if it is denied move on and ask someone else.
B) Do not trash talk in cases that have nothing to do with the game or become excessively aggressive with other members.
C) No kind of Sexual harassment will be tolerated nor racism/racial slurs.
D) We reserve the right to change, modify, and add more rules to ensure the goals of The Guard are kept and pursued.
--If you think you can handle respecting your fellow Guardians then there will never be an issue between yourself and The Guard.--
